Ba Vi National Park is a place known by many domestic and foreign tourists as a green lung of Hanoi city with fresh air at an altitude of more than 1100m. Not far from Hanoi, Ba Vi has become a famous tourist area in the capital and is very suitable for people to take each other “away” from the heart of the bustling city. This article will guide the experience of camping in Ba Vi for you.
HOW TO GO TO THREE?
With a distance of nearly 60km, from the center of Hanoi we have 3 routes to reach Ba Vi National Park by self-driving motorbike/car:
Direction 1: Starting from Big C Thang Long intersection, straight towards Thang Long Boulevard to Lang – Hoa Lac and turning left when passing Tam My market. This is the shortest road for you in Thanh Xuan, Ha Dong, Giap Bat districts. Advantages: Nice road, running low carbon traffic police. The downside is that there is no place to play on the road, the rest stop.
Direction 2: Starting from Hanoi Pedagogical University, go straight to Route 32 through Son Tay town and turn to the direction of Chua Thong.
Direction 3: Same starting point 1 but not running Thang Long Avenue but turning to Thach That, passing Son Tay town and going towards Thong Pagoda direction 2.
Note: You can travel by motorbike or car because the distance is closed and the road is quite easy. But for those of you who ride a motorbike, I advise you not to ride the train. When going up the hill in Ba Vi National Park it is okay but when you go down if you are not careful you can burn the brakes and get into accidents. Note that for passenger cars larger than 30 seats, only up to 400m, from 400m or more from the core is prohibited.
For those who take the bus, you can move to My Dinh bus station, catch bus number 74 with 48 turns/day, ticket price 9k to Xuan Khanh. From here you can take a taxi/motorbike to Ba Vi National Park. If you go from Yen Nghia bus station, you can catch 214 to Xuan Khanh. In addition, you can choose the destination is Son Tay bus station (from My Dinh with trip 71, the ticket price of 20k / person). Then catches more bus route 79 from Son Tay bus station to Da Chong (30p / trip), the ticket price is 10k / person).
WHAT SHOULD YOU GO TO THEN?
Ba Vi National Park is cool all year round, winter will be a bit cold, but you can go to Ba Vi any season.
Go to Ba Because you will admire the blooming flowers, orchids grow on ancient branches. In addition, you can also see the buds of young red leaf buds that are racing to grow instead of the old leaves that have fallen out.
The reason for coming here in the summer is to avoid heat. In the midst of the tall forest trees, you will feel the cool and fresh air, immerse yourself in the green of the forest and nature. The bright sunshine of Hanoi summer will not reach you.
In the autumn season of October and November, you will admire the beauty of the bright yellow hills and flowers growing on both sides of the road, so we must be surprised by their beauty.
If you are lucky, you will probably see the snow falling on Thuong temple (a rare natural phenomenon in Vietnam).
Each season of Ba Vi National Park has its own beauty. However, the most convenient time you should go is from April to October every year. At this time Ba Vi weather is very pleasant, no cloud, quiet fresh air especially suitable for outdoor picnic camps.
